Our Rigid Vangs/Hard
Vangs are made using a Single AISI 330 Stainless Steel
Spring for compression. This type of mechanism has proven
to be more effective and trouble free over multiple spring
systems. The rigid vang replaces the need for a topping
lift and fives you the option of increasing the roach
on the Main for better up-wind performance, less wear
and tear on the leech edge of the main, and with increased
sail area, better off wind and down wind drive.
